Denbigh staff take on the MK Marathon Relay

Congratulations to both staff teams who competed in the MK Marathon Relay Event last weekend. Our Science Faculty took on the Senior Leadership Team in a friendly competition in the event which challenged teams of four runners to complete the marathon course in a relay, with each team member running about 10Km. Our Science Team named ‘Sweat, Regret and Oxygen Debt ‘ were our Denbigh winners as they finished an amazing second in terms of all the mixed teams that took part on the day, completing the course in a speedy 3 hours and 3 minutes. Our Senior Leadership team – ‘Denbigh Dynamite’ also performed superbly finishing as the 32nd Mixed Team in a fantastic 4 hours and 9 minutes.

It was a great day for all that took part, and we are proud of them all!
