Year 9 Focus on Diversity
On Wednesday 22nd June, our Year 9 students took part in the annual ‘Diversity Day’ where we offer students a choice of 12 different sessions all running on the theme of diversity. This year we had sessions running on Mental Health Awareness, Islam, Diversity in Media, Biodiversity and even the cultural history surrounding body artwork and tattooing!
We’ve had some fantastic feedback and discussions with Year 9 students following these sessions and are really excited to see how our students will use their new knowledge and opinions as they move into their GCSEs next year.
