Denbigh’s MK Youth Council Reps Elected

Congratulations to Lucas and Ayaan from Year 7 who have been elected as Denbigh’s representatives on the MK Youth Council.   15 Denbigh students were nominated to take part in the election, with over 1,100 votes cast in-school.  Across the 11 MK Secondary schools who were electing representatives, over 12,000 votes were cast, demonstrating the interest there is in the work of the Youth Council amongst the young people of Milton Keynes.   

Mrs Martin, Assistant Headteacher for our Complementary Curriculum said: ‘It was great to see the enthusiasm amongst our students for the MK Youth Council elections whether that be standing as a candidate in the election or voting on election day.  We know that Ayaan and Lucas will be fantastic representatives for us on MK’s Youth Council.’
