Year 12 Focus on the Future  

Focusing on your future was the theme of the Futures Day held for Year 12 students during the final Enrichment Day of the year.  Students came off timetable to attend specialist sessions on UCAS applications, apprenticeships, student finance, Medicine courses and Oxbridge applications.  The highlight of the day was the ‘speed dating’ event with 22 Denbigh Alumni who came back to school to speak to our students about the path they have taken since they left Denbigh.

Mr Gannaway, Director of Post 16 said: ‘It was very pleasing to see our Year 12 students engaging with the sessions and planning for the future once they have completed their post-16 studies.  We are so grateful to the Denbigh Alumni who came back to school to share their experiences with our current students.  It was also wonderful for staff to catch up with them and hear about their successes.  We are very proud of our Alumni and grateful to them for giving back’.
