Sixth Form Open Evening draws students from across MK
Over 1000 prospective sixth formers and their families both from here at Denbigh and from across Milton Keynes attended our recent Sixth Form Open Evening. There was a vibrant atmosphere in-school as they toured our excellent Sixth Form facilities and talked to staff about the aspirations they have for their education Post-16.
As always, our current Sixth Formers were keen to show off their school and came back for the evening to act as tour guides and faculty helpers, allowing our visitors to get a first-hand account of student life in the Denbigh Sixth Form. Two students, Philip Mensah and Alysha Miah were part of the Headteacher presentations and talked to packed audiences in the Meeting Hall about their experiences of the Denbigh Sixth Form.
Mr Gannaway, Director of Post 16 Education said: ‘It is wonderful to see the pride staff and students have in our Sixth Form. The atmosphere in-school on the night was lively and positive with so many young people interested in exploring their Post -16 options with us. I would urge everyone to visit our dedicated Sixth Form website to find out even more about our learning community and to start making an application for September 2024 before the closing date of Friday 1st March’.
