Year 10 take in the sights of Barcelona & Toulouse
46 Year 10 students visited Barcelona and Toulouse in a fantastic six-day trip sampling Spanish and French culture, visiting historic sites and practicing their language skills.
They flew to Barcelona and explored the City’s famous landmarks including Las Ramblas, the Gothic Quarter and the Sagrada Familia. They enjoyed a walking tour of the City and sampled some tapas. They then travelled by coach to Toulouse, but before leaving Spain they visited the Dali Museum in Figueres. Once in Toulouse they explored the Grotte de Limousis caves and took in the City’s sites on a river cruise. They also visited the historic old town in Carcassonne. It was a wonderful trip for the students with so much packed into the six days. All the students represented the school really well.
Our thanks go to Mrs Brown, Miss Roche, Mr Bennett, Ms Jolley & Mr Harrington who accompanied the students on the trip.
