Football Academy Captain speaks at Wembley Presentation

Football Academy captain, Abdubasit Agberemi has spoken about his team’s successful season which led them to becoming EFL U19 Regional CEFA Football League champions.  Abdubasit spoke at the team’s presentation ceremony held at Wembley before last season’s EFL League One Play Off final.  He was filmed by the EFL as he congratulated his teammates and thanked Academy Director, Mr Lay for his guidance and support.

Becoming league champions crowned a fantastic first year of our Academy working in partnership with MK Dons Sport & Education Trust (MK Dons SET). This partnership has allowed students in our Academy, the most established Post-16 provider of football education in the City, to train and compete in a high-performance environment and represent the Dons in the CEFA League against EFL clubs including, West Bromwich Albion (WBA), Wolves, Derby, Port Vale, Shrewsbury and Birmingham.
