As a community school we are dedicated to supporting our local community and offer high quality facilities available for hire throughout the year. Whether you are looking for a regular meeting room, a dance or theatre venue,  a facility to host an activity or club, or a versatile space for charity/community events, we have a variety of options to suit all needs.

All facilities are available to hire outside of the normal school day, during the evenings or weekends.  Lettings can be booked on a regular or one-off basis.

Current Hirers

We currently hire out our facilities to a diverse range of users, including tutoring groups, dance clubs, music teachers and a cadet squadron.  We have hosted large-scale community and cultural events, training courses, gymnastics performances, comedians and classical musicians.

We currently have an opening for a regular Saturday or Sunday booking which would be ideal for congregations or weekend schools.

Facilities for Hire

Meeting Hall

An impressive hall/theatre space which can comfortably seat 300 people. Ideal for small scale theatre productions and musical performances. The space has raised seating, state of the art lighting and sound systems and a full HD projector.

Drama Studio

The Drama Studio can be used in conjunction with the Meeting Hall to create a larger performance space with a black back drop and front curtain.  The Drama Studio can also be used on its own and would be ideal for dance groups, choir practice, rehearsal space or exercise classes. 

Activity Studio

The Activity Studio is a large light space with excellent amenities including a sprung dance floor, ballet barre and mirrored wall for dance classes. The space is often used for community events as it is an ideal place to mingle and serve food.

Meeting Rooms

Denbigh has a classic board style meeting room which can accommodate 20 people and a well-equipped training room which can accommodate up to 30 people. Ideal for weekly meetings, or training courses.

Classrooms

We have several well positioned classrooms available for hire. The Classrooms are well-equipped and can accommodate a range of events including training and examinations.

To Make a Booking

Prices for a booking start from as little as £22 per hour.   Community users/charities may be eligible for a reduced rate. All bookings require a refundable deposit, there will also be a fee for the caretaker on site during your booking.

All enquiries should be sent to lettings@denbigh.net. You will be invited for a tour of the School with our Estates Manager to discuss your booking.  All prospective hirers will need to complete a booking form and accept our terms and conditions (available on request).  All prospective hirers will need to hold appropriate levels of insurance and safeguarding measures.
