Year 7 Open Evening
Our Open Evening for September 2025 starters took place on Wednesday 9th October and showcased the very best of Denbigh School. Prospective students and parents visited us to find out about more about our dynamic learning environment and discover how we recorded the strongest GCSE results in the history of the school this summer. Parents were able to attend a Headteacher presentation given by Mr Steed, have a tour of the school with current students and visit stalls in the Street with information about opportunity at Denbigh.
We are very grateful to the hundreds of current students who came back to school for the evening to act as guides and helpers in the faculty areas. They were able to give our guests a real insight into life at Denbigh.
Mr Steed, Headteacher said, ‘It was a pleasure to share with prospective students and parents the opportunities our wonderful learning community can offer them. There was a fantastic atmosphere in-school thanks to the efforts of our students and staff, who came together to promote our school.’

Sixth Form Open Evening
Prospective Sixth Formers and their families from Denbigh and across Milton Keynes attended our recent Sixth Form Open Evening for September 2025 starters. There was a wonderful atmosphere in-school as they toured our excellent Sixth Form facilities and talked to staff and current Sixth Formers about the aspirations they have for their education Post-16.
As always, our current Sixth Formers were keen to show off their school and came back for the evening to act as faculty helpers, allowing our visitors to get a first-hand account of student life in the Denbigh Sixth Form. Two students, Grace Uffiah and Adam Qureshi were part of the Headteacher presentations and talked to packed audiences in the Meeting Hall about their experiences of the Denbigh Sixth Form.
Mr Gannaway, Director of Post 16 Education said: ‘It is wonderful to see the pride staff and students have in our Sixth Form. The atmosphere in-school on the night was welcoming and supportive with so many positive comments from our visitors about our Sixth Form staff and students. One of the comments which summed up the feeling on the night was that ‘I do hope you and your students know how privileged you are to be in such an inspirational setting.’
