Year 7 Open Evening for September 2026 starters

Our recent Year 7 Open Evening for September 2026 starters showcased the very best of Denbigh School.  Prospective students and parents visited us to find out more about our dynamic and supportive learning environment.   Parents were able to attend a Headteacher presentation given by Mr Steed, have a tour of the school with current students and visit stalls in the Street with information about opportunity at Denbigh.  We were delighted to see the Meeting Hall full to capacity for each of the three Headteacher presentations.

We are very grateful to the hundreds of current students who came back to school for the evening to act as guides and helpers in the faculty areas.  They were able to give our guests a real insight into life at Denbigh.  A special mention goes to Year 7 students Isabella Murray and TJ Giwa who spoke so confidently to students and parents about life at Denbigh School during the Headteacher presentations.

Mr Steed, Headteacher said, ‘The whole school was buzzing with energy, and it was wonderful to see so many families, friends, school governors and members of our community come together to promote our school.  The atmosphere was vibrant from start to finish and I couldn’t be prouder of our students, who conducted themselves with confidence, enthusiasm, and maturity.  A huge thank you also goes to our dedicated staff, whose commitment and care made the event run so smoothly.  It was a truly special occasion that reminded us about what makes our school community so exceptional.’

Sixth Form Open Evening for September 2026 starters

Over 1,100 prospective Sixth Formers and their families from Denbigh and across Milton Keynes attended our recent Sixth Form Open Evening.  The buzz and energy around the School was fantastic to see as our visitors toured the facilities and talked to staff and current Sixth Formers about their aspirations for Post-16 Education and beyond.

As always, our current Sixth Formers were keen to show off their Sixth Form and came back for the evening to act as faculty helpers, allowing our visitors to get a first-hand account of student life in the Denbigh Sixth Form.  Two students, Lucas Amps and Angel Adeoye were part of the Headteacher presentations and gave inspiring and motivational talks to packed audiences in the Meeting Hall.

Mr Bennett, Director of Post 16 Education said: ‘It is wonderful to see the pride staff and students have in our Sixth Form.  We had some amazing feedback from parents during the event about how impressed they were with everything they saw and how welcoming and informative our staff and student guides and faculty helpers were.
