Careers Festival attracts record number of organisations
The highlight of Careers Week was our annual Careers Festival which this year attracted a record number of 29 organisations into school to talk to our students about career opportunities open to them. The Meeting Hall and Activity Studio were packed as students from Year 10 to Year 13 talked to representatives about Apprenticeships, T-Levels, Universities and other career options. They also received advice on applying for jobs and producing a CV from our in-house Careers Team.
We are very grateful to the organisations who came in to meet our students. They were:
Acorns Early Years, Aiimi, AMEY, Arts1, ASK Apprenticeships, Coventry University, MK Council Community Nurses, FCDO Services, IFTL, IMI, Jardines BMW, Kirkby Diamond, Lancaster University, MK College, MK Council, Navy, Network Rail, Nifty Lift, Northampton University, Oxford Brookes University, RED, Red Bull, Tommy Flowers SCITT, Tesla, Thames Valley Police, UEA, University of Buckingham, University of Hertfordshire, Whittlebury.
Dr Frame, Headteacher said ‘Thank you to our in-house Careers Team who put so much work into making this an inspiring and informative event for our students. To see a record number of organisations taking part was fantastic and our Careers Festival has quickly become one of the highlights of the school year’.
