Denbigh Donations reach Ukraine

We are delighted to report that all your wonderfully generous donations have now arrived safely in Ukraine to help those in need.  The DSV lorry which was packed full of donations from us, Watling Academy, Hazeley Academy and Shenley Brook End School reached the Polish/Ukraine border and then travelled into a ‘safe’ zone just over the Ukrainian border.  Some of the donations were handed out to people living there (pictured), with the remainder being handed over to the Ukrainian military who have moved it to Kyiv for distribution.

We are so proud of the response from our school and local community to help the humanitarian effort in Ukraine where people have found themselves thrust into such challenging circumstances.
