Judo star wins Silver at British National Championships

Our Judo star, Jamie Leroux, Year 9 finished off a fantastic 2022 by winning a silver medal at the British National Championships this weekend, the UK’s most important Judo event

Jamie competed in the pre-cadet boys under 42Kg category, reaching the final and winning his silver medal.  The lead-up to the competition has not been plain sailing for Jamie with injury and illness problems, but he overcame this to perform superbly at the Championships.

Jamie’s performances this year have already secured his place in the England Development Squad for a second year running so this result was a fitting end to a brilliant year for Jamie.
