Junior Mathematicians Excel Nationally

We are celebrating an outstanding set of results achieved by our talented Year 7 & 8 Mathematicians in UK Mathematics Trust’s (UKMT) Junior Maths Challenge. 196 students from the two year groups challenged themselves by entering this competition which tests students from across the country on their mathematical reasoning, precision of thought and skill in using mathematical techniques. 

Our Mathematicians recorded a remarkable medal count with 28 Gold, 43 Silver and 58 Bronze medals achieved.  Special mention goes to Sachin Ainkaran who was ‘Best in Year 7’ and Alston Au who was ‘Best in Year 8’.

We are very proud of all the students who took part and demonstrated their talent for Mathematics.
