New Denbigh Headteacher Appointed

We are delighted to announce that Mr Anthony Steed will be our new Headteacher from September 2024, taking over from Dr Andrea Frame who is retiring.  Mr Steed is currently a Deputy Head at Denbigh and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience which will help him to lead the school forward and build on the success of Dr Frame’s Headship. 

Mr Steed was appointed following a rigorous two-day interview process during which the views of students, staff, governors and trustees were all sought.   Mr Steed said on his appointment: ‘I am both incredibly proud and delighted to be able to lead Denbigh into the future as Headteacher. I look forward to working closely with the entire Denbigh community to ensure that each of our students receives the best educational experience possible.’

Dr Frame, Headteacher said: ‘I know that the school will be in excellent hands with Mr Steed.  I have had the pleasure of working with him for the last nine years and he will be able to lead Denbigh through the next stage of its development to become an even better school.’

Sue Collings, CEO of the Denbigh Alliance Trust of which Denbigh is a member said of Mr Steed’s appointment: ‘I’m thrilled Mr Steed has accepted the Headship position at Denbigh, and I look forward to working with him as we make Denbigh even more successful’.
