A Level Maths students take on National Ritangle Challenge
Congratulations to our talented team of A Level Mathematicians who took part in the National Integral Ritangle Competition which sets students from across the country a series of challenging Maths problems to solve across the Autumn Term.
Our team led by Jamie Shakeshaft – Ward (Y12), with teammates Liberty Abbott (Y13) and
Rich Mandal (Y12) were totally committed to the Challenge and took on the problems set for them every week. Initially this was one problem a week, then three a week and finally 10 problems and one very difficult final problem to end the Competition. They worked really well together as a team to find solutions to all of the problems except for the last one, which unfortunately stumped them.
Jamie, Liberty and Rich were supported in the Challenge by fellow Sixth Form mathematicians:
Ryan Sohal (Y12)
Sharveen Shanthalingam (Y12)
Musa Ahmad (Y12)
Vansh Patel (Y12)
Devin Kumar (Y12)
Wan Hey Jerry Li (Y12)
Congratulations to them all, we are very proud of them.
