A Sixth Form Celebration of Cultural Diversity
Sixth Formers took part in Denbigh’s inaugural Cultures Day in February, with students coming in wearing clothes and bringing flags that celebrated the many rich and diverse cultures in our Sixth Form. Students brought in their own food, which was shared and enjoyed with the rest of the Sixth Form community. Then at midday there was a parade in which students displayed their cultures in the Sixth Form Centre, attended by around 150 Denbigh students.
A huge thank you to the Sixth Form Events Committee, without whose excellent ideas and planning this event could not have taken place. It is great to hear that the Sixth Formers inspired the younger year groups, and we hope that we can continue Cultures Day when they join our Sixth form.
