Sixth Formers at Denbigh School are expected to use their study periods wisely. Our basic guidance is that students should be matching the hours spent in class with the same number of hours outside of the classroom, as well as homework. As such, we provide space for all Sixth Form students to study during the day.
Sixth Form students will also be allocated two 1 hour ‘Study’ sessions on their timetable where they will be registered and expected to bring work to get on with for the hour. These sessions are for silent study and are extremely valued by the students, to the extent that many ask for more than their allocated amount!
