Sixth Formers are among the best young Mathematicians in the Country
The results are in for the 10 talented Sixth Form Mathematicians who qualified for the prestigious Kangaroo Round of UK Mathematics Trust’s (UKMT) Senior Maths Challenge. They recorded a fantastic four Merit certificates and six Qualification certificates. A special mention goes to Cameron Lunn who was ‘Best in Year 13’ and ‘Best in School’ and to Thomas Andell and Kush Tailor who were joint ‘Best in Year 12’.
The UKMT Challenge is open to Sixth Form students across the country, testing them on their mathematical reasoning, precision of thought and skill in using mathematical techniques. Gold Medal winners in the Challenge qualify for the prestigious follow-on round known as the Kangaroo Challenge.
