Sixth Formers Celebrate their Cultural Diversity
There were joyous scenes as our Sixth Formers took part in ‘Cultures Day’ celebrating the rich cultural diversity of our Sixth Form community. Students wore clothing and brought in flags and food that represent their heritage. The highlight of the day was a parade in the Sixth Form Centre which brought together the whole Sixth Form community.
Paul Gannaway, Director of the Sixth Form said: ‘Sixth Form Cultures Day has quickly become one of the highlights of the year for our Sixth Form students and staff. The scenes in the Sixth Form Centre as our community came together were fantastic to see. A huge thank you to the Sixth Form Council who put so much into planning this inspirational event.’
