Denbigh Sixth Form offers, primarily, an academic Level 3 Curriculum, focused on A Levels. We believe that this fits in with the ethos of the wider school and offers students the best route into a successful and lasting career, into a Higher Level Apprenticeship or on to University.
We also offer vocational, non-A Level courses, including BTEC Sports Studies and Cambridge Technical Level 3 in Health and Social Care and Level 3 in Business. These subjects are single Level 3 subject awards and are studied in conjunction with A Levels.
Alternatively, we offer a sports-focused route within our Football Academy where students earn the BTEC National Diploma in Sports (equivalent to two A-Levels) and progress on to either University, Apprenticeships or into employment. Some students may also study an A-Level alongside the Football Academy, providing they have the necessary GCSE grades.
