Denbigh Sixth Form prides itself on the amount of extra-curricular opportunities that are provided for our students. These range from the formal opportunities provided through Enrichment in Year 12, whereby every student is expected to choose from arrange of activities that include First Aid, EPQ, Community Sports Leaders, Italian, Tutoring, Cooking, Art, Upcycling and many more. This choice will then be timetabled for an hour a week.
Beyond the classroom, the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award is also a popular option for our students. There are also sports clubs, with regular Football fixtures as well as Basketball competitions and Netball matches.
The Sixth Form Council offers another route for students to get involved outside of the classroom. Decisions cover events and newsletters, rewards and community participation. Sixth Formers also get involved in the wider school community by acting as mentors to younger students and helping out as learning assistants in classrooms.
