Starting Sixth Form is an exciting step and an opportunity to develop the knowledge, skills and independence needed for success at advanced level study. This Summer Preparation Hub has been designed to help prospective Year 12 students make a confident and successful transition from GCSEs to their chosen A Level, BTEC or vocational courses.

Each subject area contains a tailored preparation document created by our teaching staff. These documents provide students with a recommended shopping list of equipment and materials. You will also find wider reading suggestions to help build subject knowledge and curiosity before September as well as a range of engaging enrichment activities, including recommended books, podcasts, documentaries, TV programmes, films and online resources that will introduce key concepts and develop a deeper understanding of your chosen subjects.
