U16 Girls Football Team reach County Cup Final

Our U16 Girls’ Football Team have won through to the final of the Buckinghamshire Schools County Cup after an incredible 8-0 win in the semi-final against St Paul’s. This is the first time a Denbigh Girls’ football team has reached the county cup final in the history of the school.
The whole team played superbly. Special mentions go to Princess-Stella, who scored a hat-trick and our goalkeeper and defenders (Layla, Maisy, Daisy, Kacey, Isla D) who stayed organised and made vital challenges and saves to prevent St Paul’s from scoring.
The girls will be taking on The Grange School in the Final at Arbour Park Stadium, home of Slough Town FC. We are proud of them all and hope that they can bring home the Cup! A special thank you to Miss South, their coach
