93 Sixth Form Mathematicians take on National Challenge
93 talented Sixth Form Mathematicians took on UK Mathematics Trust’s (UKMT) National Senior Maths Challenge, achieving a fantastic 12 Gold, 19 Silver, 36 Bronze and 26 Participation medals. The UKMT Challenge is open to Sixth Form students across the country, testing them on their mathematical reasoning, precision of thought and skill in using mathematical techniques.
Our 12 Gold medallists, pictured above, have qualified for the prestigious Kangaroo Round of the Challenge where they can demonstrate their mathematical skills further. A special mention to Toby Snowdon and Kuku Dompreh who were ‘Best in Year’ for Year 12 & Year 13 respectively.
We are very proud of all our talented mathematicians who chose to test themselves against students from across the country.
