Holocaust & Genocide Educator talks to Year 9
Never forgetting the lessons of the Holocaust and other genocides that have taken place across the world was the theme of a talk for Year 9 from Paul Salver, an Outreach Educator from the Holocaust Educational Trust. His key message to our students was that by remembering the past, we can defend the future.
The visit was part of events for Holocaust and Genocide Memorial Day 2025, which marks the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz and 30 years since Srebrenica.
It was very powerful for our students and staff to hear from Mr Salver and his message that we can bring together all social, cultural and racial groups to stand against racism and intolerance through knowledge and understanding of the Holocaust and other genocides.
