We work in partnership with our caterers, Cucina to deliver a high-quality food service that offers a range of options that are both healthy and appealing to students and staff, and great value for parents and carers.  Our meal deal options are priced at £2.70.

School Restaurant

Our School restaurant is off the main street and offers an extensive food range whether you are looking for a ‘grab and go’ option or to sit down for a traditional hot meal.  We start with a breakfast service at 8am and then open again at break and lunchtime.  The menu is regularly updated to include seasonal produce, and there are exciting theme days to celebrate cultural and community events.

Brewhouse 

Located in the Street near the Sixth Form Centre, Brewhouse is a dining area for Sixth Formers only offering food and drinks in an Italian Coffee house style.

Food to suit everyone

Classic Hot and Hearty – From roast dinners to curries with our hearty hot dishes there’s something to keep everyone fuelled through the day & we offer an affordable main and dessert meal deal.  All dishes are freshly made and full of flavour.  

StreetVibes – Customisable grab and go street food packed with bold flavours – from peri-peri chicken to zingy noodles.  You can build your own bowl just how you like it!

Chill Deals – There are a range of healthy ‘grab and go’ options in our fridges that offer great value and convenience.

Naturally Range – Vegan and Vegetarian – The Naturally Range has tasty vegetarian and vegan dishes that are full of protein and nutrient-rich ingredients to keep you fuelled through the day.

Trattoria – a tasty range of fresh pasta or pizza available every day.

Jacket Potatoes & toppings & Homemade Soup and freshly baked bread – traditional favourites available every day.

Cashless Catering

Denbigh operates a cashless catering system through a biometric system. Parents and carers can top up their child(ren)’s account at any time, via Parentmail. This system is also used for all school communications, and we recommend that all parents and carers activate their accounts, to ensure that they are kept fully informed of everything that is going on!    

    

Free School Meals

We want every student to have access to a healthy, nutritious meal each day.  If your child is eligible for free school meals, they can enjoy a number of options from our school restaurant.  Students can select a breakfast option either before the school day starts or at first break. Then at lunchtime, they can select two items from the daily lunch menu, for the current free school meal price.  For instance, soup and a main course, main course and a pudding, soup and a sandwich etc.  If they have any queries, the canteen staff will assist in a very considerate and respectful manner.

Dietary Requirements/Halal options

If your child has any dietary requirements, please contact our School matron to ensure that this is put onto the biometric system.  Options are available for gluten free, dairy free or halal.
