MK Youth Summit empowers our Student Leaders

Denbigh’s Student Leaders represented us at the 2024 MK Youth Summit held at Unity place and hosted by the MK Mayor, the MK Youth Mayor & MK Youth Council Chair.  The aim of the Summit was to empower young people to use their voice for the good of their communities.

There were workshops on staying safe in MK, wellbeing and how to engage in debate.  Our Student Leaders also heard from a range of speakers, including Chris Curtis MP, about the importance of youth participation in local communities and the Government.

This was an inspirational event for our Student Leaders, and they have brought back what they learnt to share with our wider student body.  Thank you to Mr Hairsine and Mr Burgess who accompanied the students to the Summit.

Our Student Leaders who represented us were:

Narmada Ambekar, Chimdalu Anozie, Lohita Belo, Kadee Deathe, Eshan Gorsi, Annabella Hartslief, Zahra Hussain, Gabriel Rowcroft-James, Snehal Sharma, Shreya Varma
