Runners up at MK Schools’ Cross-Country Championships

Many congratulations to our cross-country runners whose brilliant performances meant that we were overall runners-up at the MK Schools Championships held at Campbell Park.  There were fantastic performances from all our teams which were drawn from Year 7 through to Year 11, including wins for our Year 8 & 9 and Year 10 & 11 Boys’ teams as well as a runners-up spot for our Year 10 & 11 Girls’ team.

A massive thank you to our PE Faculty staff and Football Academy helpers who organised the event which involved 354 runners from 14 MK secondary schools. Their hard work and organisational skills ensured that students across the City had the chance to compete at this fantastic venue.

Denbigh’s Team’s results were:

Year 7 Girls – Fifth Place

Year 7 Boys – Fifth Place

Year 8/9 Girls – Fourth Place

Year 8/9 Boys – First Place

Year 10/11 Girls – Second Place

Year 10/11 Boys – First Place
