Celebrating strongest GCSE results in our history

We are delighted to announce the strongest GCSE results in Denbigh’s history, marking an outstanding achievement for our students, staff, families and the wider school community. The students were able to celebrate their outstanding results with teachers, families and friends.    The School’s results showed a marked increase in overall attainment, and we are particularly proud of the breadth of achievement across the year group, with students securing the grades they need to progress to their chosen sixth forms, colleges, apprenticeships and other Post-16 pathways.  The top 27 GCSE students scored an average of Grade 8 or above across all their subjects and the top 67 students scored an average of Grade 7 and above.  This is a brilliant achievement, and we are very proud of them all.

Our top performing students were:

Headteacher, Mr Steed said: ‘Today’s results provide a fitting opportunity for the whole school community to recognise the achievements of this exceptional year group and to celebrate the staff who have supported them throughout their journey. Their hard work, perseverance, and determination have truly paid off, and today’s results are a testament to their commitment.  These results are not just grades on a page – they represent years of effort, growth, and resilience. We are incredibly proud of every member of this year group and look forward to seeing them take their next steps with confidence.  They have set a new benchmark for our school, and we cannot wait to see what they go on to achieve. Today is a celebration of their success and of their bright futures ahead.’
