STEM Celebration at Awards Ceremony

Achievement and participation in the STEM disciplines of Science, DT, Computing & Business and Maths were celebrated at our recent STEM Awards Ceremony.  150 awards were given out recognising academic achievement and outstanding contribution to the STEM subjects and for participation in STEM themed extra-curricular activities.

Alumni student Saseeban Rathakrishnan who is a Design Engineer for local engineering company, Niftylift was our special guest at the Ceremony.  In an inspiring speech, Saseeban spoke about his journey since leaving Denbigh which has led to him becoming a Design Engineer.  Saseeban gave out the awards in front of an audience of staff, families and friends. 

One of the highlights of the evening was when Saseeban presented Matthew, Year 13 with the 2026 Niftylift Innovation Award for demonstrating an innovative approach in his D&T studies.
