Winning formula for Year 7 & 8 in National Maths Challenge

Mathematicians in Years 7 and 8 achieved an outstanding 13 gold medals in the UKMT National Junior Maths Challenge.  Of these, nine of our talented mathematicians qualified for the prestigious Kangaroo Round of the Challenge, where they be tested further on their mathematical reasoning, precision of thought and skill in using mathematical techniques. 

Congratulations to Chetan in Year 8, who secured the ‘Best in School’ score. We are so proud that 225 students from Years 7 and 8 took part in this competition, rising to the challenge and competing alongside the strongest young mathematicians in the county.
