Year 13 Band THE FALL GUYZ win Talent Show

The 2026 Talent Show was a triumph!  Nearly every seat in the Meeting Hall was taken and there was a great atmosphere created by the audience, hosts, judges and contestants.  15 talented acts entertained us including musical theatre performances, street dance, Michael Jackson inspired choreography, pianists and solo guitar artists.

Such was the high standard of talent on display it was a tricky decision for our judging panel who were our esteemed House Champions!   In the end, our Year 13 band ‘The Fall Guyz’ (Rex B, Mikey W, Daniel D, Paul M and Marcos F) won first place with their fantastic rendition of ‘I’m Still Standing’; impressing the judges with their stage presence, sense of ensemble and relationship with the audience.

Joining them on the podium were Sama A, Year 7 in second place, with a beautiful arrangement of ‘Idea 22’ on the piano and, in third place Anya R, Year 13 with a stunning performance of ‘Heart of Stone’ from SIX!

The evening was expertly hosted by Eli W, Year 13, Lennon H, Year 12 and Ben C, Year 11 and supported by the wonderful Theo W (Year 7- lighting) and Reuel R (Year 12 – sound).  Student involvement also extended to front of house, where guests were warmly welcomed by Athena Y, Year 12, Akshara B, Year 12 and Erezi I, Year 13.

Mrs Clegg, our Drama Teacher said: ‘A massive thank you and congratulations to all involved on a fantastic night for our school community – we are always astounded by our home-grown talent!  Thank you to my colleagues in the Creative Arts Team for putting their hearts into this show; to our super talented cast and hosts for their courage; to Mrs Nicholson for being the brains behind the operation, ensuring all communications went out to families and to Mr Jackson for capturing the magic of the evening with his brilliant photos.   The evening raised £464 which will go towards this year’s school production which we are so excited to reveal soon!’
