Ava wins the Care and Opportunity Award

Ava, who has just completed Year 13 is the winner of the 2026 Care and Opportunity Award which recognises a student whose outstanding personal progress has been achieved through a commitment to growth and opportunity.  Ava received the award at the recent Celebration of Success Ceremony from our special guest on the night, alumni student, Alexis Newa.

Ava was given this award in recognition of her resilience and perseverance, which have been truly inspiring for all.  Ava has approached every challenge she has faced with determination, embracing every opportunity to improve and never losing sight of her goals.  Through hard work, commitment and a positive attitude, she has made exceptional progress and achieved successful A Level results.

Ava was also awarded an Exceptional Progress at A Level Award at the Ceremony for being in the top ten students in Year 13 who made the most progress when their A Level results were compared to the targets set for them at the start of their A Level studies in Year 12.

Ava’s dedication to her own growth and her refusal to give up makes her a deserving recipient of this award and a wonderful example to others.
