Eléa receives 2026 Headteacher’s Award

We are delighted to announce that Eléa, who has recently completed Year 13, is the recipient of the prestigious 2026 Headteacher’s Award. She was presented with the trophy by Mr Steed during our annual Celebration of Success Ceremony.

The Headteacher’s Award recognises a student who has made an exceptional contribution to the school community while exemplifying our vision to Aspire, Innovate, Achieve and Belong.  Eléa is a truly deserving winner whose academic excellence, leadership and unwavering commitment to the school have made a lasting impact on Denbigh.

Throughout her time at the school, Eléa consistently demonstrated a determination to challenge herself and achieve her very best. She excelled in both French and German, while also pursuing her passion for photography. Her talent behind the camera helped capture many of the special moments that make our school community unique.

What makes Eléa particularly deserving of this award is the way she embraced every aspect of school life. Whether supporting major school events, celebrating the rich diversity of our community, or helping new students feel welcomed and settled, she was always willing to give her time, energy and enthusiasm to others.

Alongside her outstanding contribution to school life, Eléa achieved an excellent set of GCSE and A-Level results, reflecting her commitment, resilience and ambition.

Eléa has been an exceptional role model for her peers, demonstrating kindness, dedication and a genuine desire to make a positive difference. Her contribution has left a lasting legacy at Denbigh, and she is a thoroughly deserved winner of this award.
