Year 7 & 8 shine in Kangaroo Round of UKMT Maths Challenge

The results are in for the talented young Mathematicians from Year 7 & 8 who qualified for the prestigious follow-on round of UK Mathematics Trust’s (UKMT) Junior Maths Challenge.  Nine students competed in the follow-on round, known as the ‘Kangaroo Round’, recording one Gold, one Silver, four Bronze and three qualification medals.  

A special mention goes to Aarav from Year 8 who was a Gold medallist and achieved the ‘Best in School’ result.  

The UKMT Junior Challenge is open to Year 7 & 8 students from across the country, testing them on their mathematical reasoning, precision of thought and skill in using mathematical techniques.  We are very proud of our students who proved that they are amongst the best young mathematicians in this country.
