Year 9, 10 & 11 students compete with best young Mathematicians in the Country
The results are in for the talented young Mathematicians from Year 9, 10 & 11 who qualified for the prestigious follow-on round of UK Mathematics Trust’s (UKMT) Intermediate Maths Challenge. 15 students competed in the follow-on round, known as the ‘Kangaroo Round’, recording four Gold and nine Bronze medals.
A special mention to Alston from Year 10 who was a Gold medallist and achieved the ‘Best in School’ result.
The UKMT Intermediate Challenge is open to Year 9, 10 & 11 students from across the country, testing them on their mathematical reasoning, precision of thought and skill in using mathematical techniques. We are very proud of our students who proved that they are amongst the best young mathematicians in this country.
